First of all I want to thank you for creating such seemless transitions for the wedding. You did an amazing job of keeping us on schedule and making the evening a FANTASTIC event! My dad made me promise to pass along just how pleased he was with you and the job you did! I would have to say that was definitely one of the most fun days of my life! Dear Bob,
We just wanted to thank you so much for making our wedding memorable. You went over and beyond what you were there to do. Not only did you play music and entertain our guests, you helped us get ready for the reception, helped serve wine and champagne, and made sure everyone was having a great time! We truly appreciate it.

Our dance floor was never empty and our guests couldn't stop talking about you. A couple of our married friends were jealous and said they wished they would have known about you because they would of had you at their wedding. I am so thankful that you were our DJ for our special night and you kept our guests pleased and played all the right music.

Our favorite part of the night was at the end when you were playing the last dance and everyone was chanting your name. You really made an impression on everyone. Again, we want to thank you so much and we hope to see you again at another celebration!! Otter Bob Rocks!!!!

I want to say thank you so much for working with Mike and I. I feel so fortunate to have found such an awesome DJ. You were so easy and flexible throughout the entire planning process-even when we had to change venue locations 6 months prior to the wedding date. You had great recommendations for our song selections. You went above and beyond what any other DJ would have done by showing up at the rehearsal and being prepared if our musician did not show up to the wedding. I was very impressed how you kept the reception moving in a timely manner and you instructed the guests of dinner selection items and how the release of tables would work. Every time I looked at the dance floor it seemed to be full throughout the evening. I cannot say enough how blessed we were to be able to work with you and have you as our DJ. Any time I find out my friends or even friends of friends are getting married I always tell them to talk to you. I want to also include something Mike's mom recently wrote to us:

"....Your DJ was indeed one of the best. People were up and dancing all night! He was very professional and organized. He kept the crowd on the dance floor having an exciting, happy time- so much fun!"

Many people have responded similarly to Mike's mother, as well, and commented on your service you provided for us.

My wife and I want you to know how pleased we are with the DJ & MC service you provided at our wedding on 9\27\08 in Belmont. Most of our communication in the months leading to our special day was through e-mail; we appreciate your quick responses (never more than a day) when we had questions or requests, your answers and suggestions were always on the money especially with the prelude song ( Fluff - by Black Sabbath ). When I thought I was falling behind getting you info, you assured me things would work out just fine and you were right. The church\hall was a little tight for the number of guest that we had but Bob was able to keep things rolling through the challenge, from getting the guest to the food to pouring champagne for the toast. GREAT JOB BOB !!!!

DJ and Slide Show for 50th Anniversary 5/10/08

Hello Bob,

I wanted to touch base with you and let you know that we are still hearing from the guests about what a fabulous job you did on the slide show for my Mom and Dad’s 50th wedding anniversary party. They are off on a vacation to Alaska and took it with them to show everyone. Before they left, anyone that came over was shown the slide show. So, thanks again Bob. Thank you so much for everything! From the first day Sarah and I met you, we knew we had made the right choice in a DJ. We enjoyed your musical knowledge and diversity and how you worked with us and the music we wanted.We also appreciated your wedding knowledge. Helping us with the itinerary was such a huge help. You are professional, personable,cool, friendly and helpful. You always e-mailed me back promptly when I had questions or new song requests. We had so much fun at the wedding. Wedding 6/7/07

Bob was the best DJ I could have asked for. He was very professional, but made the wedding fun. He interacted with the crowd, and made us all feel important. He was very prompt in answering calls or emails, very helpful in getting our play list and songs put together, and even went out of his way to find music we suggested that he had never heard of, when we didn't even ask him to. And he was very reasonably priced. I would recommend him to anyone!

DJ Wedding Reception- 11/11/06

Jenny and I wanted to thank you for the great job you did DJ’ing our wedding reception. Bob went well beyond just DJ’ing and music selection.
We met with Bob a couple of weeks prior to the wedding and he provided asample itinerary, which actually turned into the plan for the reception.
This was a great relief, since neither Jenny or myself had ever planned a wedding reception. Bob helped out with all aspects of the reception,
helped keep everything moving, and fun! It is a pleasure to find such excellent customer service in this day. THANK YOU BOB!

The 45th Wedding Anniversary celebration for my parents was a joyous and memorable event. The professionalism, thoughtfulness, patience and enthusiasm you displayed were extraordinary! I knew the event would be special, but I never imagined it could be better than I expected. You truly made this 45th Wedding Anniversary celebration one to remember! Your bubbly personality shined throughout the entire celebration and made everyone feel comfortable. The playlist for the event was superb and the snapshots of the guests during the party, completed the slide show/DVD. I still enjoy hearing the OOH's and AAH's from those who attended and had such a wonderful time. They have all inquired about the slide show/DVD, remarked about the party and you! DJ Wedding Reception, Sunol 2/4/06

Bob DJ'd mine and my husband's wedding this past February 25 and he was just wonderful! He came over to our house shortly before the event and we put together a great playlist. That was one of the things I really liked about Bob was that he definitely got you involved in the choosing of your music so that it would make for such a great time at the wedding. We loved how our playlist turned out and he made some great suggestions, too.
Bob got involved in meeting my family and some other guests at the wedding - not just standing back and playing music. My young nieces and nephews and my own kids were able to request some of their music too. They had a blast! - Bob made sure he appealed to every age group.
We had a small wedding group but the music and Bob's personality just made our day very special. If ever we were to have another event where we needed music, he would be the first one we call. I recommend him highly!!!

DJ Outdoor Birthday Party

If you want a fun party, Otter Bob is your guy. I hired Bob to DJ for my sister's 50th Birthday party. We had a large crowd, comprised of many serious party goers. Bob kept everyone happy and kept the party moving. At first, I wanted to surprise my sister with a DJ, but because "her music" has always been important to her, I told her about Bob and invited the two of them to confirm the party's songlist. Bob worked with her for hours and made sure the list included every song she wanted - a customized musical event. It was a great gift and she loved it.

Bob also worked with us to make sure he understood how we wanted the party to progress. He helped facilitate that progression. At all times, he helped ensure that we and our guests had the best time possible. Throughout the party and after, our family and friends asked, "Where did you get Bob? He's great!"

In addition to being our DJ, Bob taught everyone how to do the Electric Slide. He joined us on the dance floor, patiently walking everyone through the steps. He did this a number of times. Each time he did it, the crowd on the dance floor increased. Each time he did it, more people saw how much fun we were having. Then, they requested an encore, later in the party. And, although some of us needed repeated lessons, he never ran out of patience with us.

Bob also has fantastic equipment - both audio and video. His music equipment is great and his video screen is huge, which is very beneficial should you have a video or slideshow presentation for your party. I happened to create a very amateur level video for my sister, which displayed beautifully on his screen. Bob also produced a very professional version of another video I created when my Aunt passed away. When the party crowd reduced to a smaller number of family members, Bob re-started his equipment and played the video for us. His skillful production impressed us all, but his obvious joy in having created such a memorable gift for us, impressed us more.

My sister's party was a great success. Given the guest list, we probably would have had fun, no matter what - we always do. However, we haven't had that much fun in a very long time. And, everyone agreed that Bob was the addition that put our enjoyment over the top. If you have a special event, you'll love the extra special, personalized outcome, should you invite Otter Bob to help you celebrate.

DJ Outdoor Wedding, Indoor Reception, and Slide Show
In May we had DJ Otter Bob perform his services at our wedding. He was very personable
on everything that we did. He was a part of our family with in a matter of days. He made
our wedding so special not by just perfecting and going out of his way to do the things that
we had ordered from him but he also added some personal touches that we were very thankful and
surprised on.

He video taped our wedding while handling the music and got some great footage that no body else was able to get.
When my husband and I were disputing about who got to pick the wedding song, DJ Otter Bob threw in some
songs for us to think about that we never knew about and were very classy.

On our DVD that we had ordered in the very beginning he put my favorite song that I wanted to be our wedding song,
but because of my husband's stubborness I did not get it my way...hehe, but it all turned out great.
I would recommend Otter Bob to anyone. He was the most memorable part of our wedding, well besides
how I looked in the dress....(lol), but give him a shot he is a great guy...even if you get his car towed (inside joke).

Photo Restoration
My siblings and I recently purchased a vacation home together up at the Russian River in Sonoma County.
It is located in the same Park where my Dad used to spend his summers in the late 1920's and early 1930's.
Bob restored, enlarged, matted, and framed numerous pictures that were taken during my Dad's summers there
which we used to decorate the cabin. (He also restored some pictures taken of my Mom up at the River, one
of which is on the Otter Bob website under "Photos and Audio"). The pictures look fantastic!

Bob was so helpful and patient throughout the whole process.
His understanding ways and personal touch contributed greatly to making this a very special project.

Thank you Bob, for helping us fill our new cabin with love and great memories.........
